Overview:
PepsiCo is seeking an Analytics Insights Associate Manager to join its Insights Services Center in Hyderabad, India. This role will provide advanced analytics support for the APAC sector, helping PepsiCo accelerate growth by building descriptive and predictive analytics solutions. You will play a key role in developing statistical models, analyzing growth drivers, pricing, assortment, market structures, and forecasting, while also contributing to consumer insight strategies across PepsiCo’s Beverages and Snacks portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Functional Responsibilities:
- Deliver descriptive and predictive analytics in line with SLAs for APAC.
- Perform deep-dive analytics on business performance drivers to support decision-making.
- Identify and visualize key market share drivers across APAC to enable brand planning.
- Support SKU optimization across regions, channels, and customers.
- Develop, maintain, and apply statistical models for pricing, forecasting, and market structure analysis.
- Collate insights from custom research, sales reports, industry publications, and social listening to shape consumer strategies.
- Provide ad-hoc analytical support with detailed charts and tables when required.
Business & Stakeholder Management:
- Own the execution of analytics projects with accuracy and timeliness.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders about capacity, project scope, and timelines.
- Flag and monitor risks impacting delivery.
- Partner with stakeholders and leadership to streamline internal processes and address bottlenecks.
- Improve service delivery based on ongoing feedback.
People & Project Management:
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Promote cross-functional communication and knowledge sharing across APAC markets.
- Lead end-to-end project management from design to delivery.
Key Technical Skills:
R, Python, SQL, Advanced Excel, Regression, Forecasting, Decision Trees, Data Visualization, Point of Sale Databases (Nielsen, IRI, SPINs, One Click Retail), PowerPoint, FMCG Market Analysis, Machine Learning, Cloud Platforms, Data Pipelines
Requirements:
- 4–7 years of hands-on experience in analytics.
- Proficiency in R and/or Python for coding and analytics.
- Strong skills in SQL and advanced MS Excel.
- In-depth knowledge of statistical techniques such as regression, forecasting, and modeling.
- Ability to design model architectures and translate business problems into analytical solutions.
- Experience with data cleaning, structuring, and aggregation.
- Strong storytelling ability to convert insights into actionable strategies.
- Familiarity with POS databases like Nielsen, IRI, SPINs, etc. (mandatory).
- Understanding of FMCG market structures and media analytics.
- Strong presentation and visualization skills in PowerPoint.
- Experience with machine learning techniques, cloud-based tech stacks, and data pipeline creation (preferred).
